- 💙 Welcome to the best school year yet! We are excited to work with all Bearcats to support their dreams and goals daily.
- 🙂 There is an MCA College Fair for Juniors and Seniors at BCC from 7:50-11:10.
- 🎉 Spirit week is September 23-26, and Homecoming is Friday, September 27. The Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, September 28.
- 💻 There is no school for students on September 27 due to professional development for staff.
- 📌There is a College Fair at the Burma Center on Upton Avenue from 6-8 on October 8. More than 40 colleges will be represented.
- 🎀 School pictures will be on October 10 and 11.
- 📲 Please make sure the Welcome Center has your current email address, mailing address, and phone numbers. We regularly send out information about grades, absences, and upcoming events. We want to make sure you have accurate information every week.
- 📚 Carrie Briggs is our Bearcat Advantage Program Coordinator.
- 🌞 Our College Advisor is Kassidy Bright and her office is located in the Welcome Center.
- 🔮 We hope all students will consider joining an after-school club or a sport. Some of our after-school clubs are: Magic Club, Robotics, National Honor Society, Craft Club, Science Olympiad, Red Cross Club, Gender Sexuality Alliance, NAACP Heritage Quiz Bowl Team, and Hispanic Heritage Alliance.
- ⏰ Class begins each day at 7:30 - thank you for being on time!! Dismissal time is 2:35.
- 🏅Coed Cross Country has a meet on September 17.
- 🏈 Men's Football has a game on September 20.
- ⚽️ Men's Soccer has games on September 17 and 19.
- 🏊♀️ Women's Swim meets on September 17, 19, and 21.
- 🎾 Men's Tennis has a meet on September 16 and 18.
- 🏐 Women's Volleyball has matches on September 19.
- ✋Asistencia: La buena asistencia a la escuela es el primer factor determinante de la graduación de la escuela secundaria.
